ESG Officer

You will use your gravitas to influence department heads, ensuring ESG reporting stays firmly on their agendas and deadlines are met.\n\n * Strategy & Committee Leadership: Partner closely with the Sustainability Manager to develop long-term sustainability strategies, and lead meetings for the internal Compliance Committee to maintain high visibility for leadership.\n\nThe successful ESG Officer\n\nA self-starter with a proven track record who can comfortably "build, shape, and mould" a function.\n\n * Experience: Proven experience working within an ESG, corporate governance, or regulatory compliance role\n\n * Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of modern ESG frameworks and upcoming regulations (e.g., CSDDD, CSR, EUDR, PPWR).\n\n * The "Builder" Mindset: Experience setting up data collection systems or frameworks where none previously existed.\n\n * Influence & Gravitas: Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams (HR, Legal, Supply Chain, Sustainability) and hold department heads accountable to reporting obligations.\n\nWhat’s on Offer?\n\n * Autonomy & Growth: This role currently has no direct reports, but as the business and regulatory requirements grow, it is fully envisioned that you will build and scale a team around you.\n\n * Global Impact: The chance to align local strategies with a wider, globally renowned parent group.\n\n * Purpose-Driven Culture: Work for a verified B-Corp business where your day-to-day contributions genuinely matter.\n\nPlease note, visa sponsorship is not supported for this role.
